  • 200 g of almond flour
  • 200 g of powdered sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon of bitter almond extract
  • Zest of 1 organic lemon

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (th. 5-6).
  2. In a bowl, mix the almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. Add the egg whites and the bitter almond extract. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  4. Gently fold in the lemon zest.
  5. Using a tablespoon, form small balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them slightly apart.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the Amaretti are lightly golden.
  7. Let cool on a wire rack before enjoying.

There you go, your homemade Amaretti are ready! You can store them in an airtight container for a few days.
